And the wind blows my hair

Is it anything like what you once knew?

Summer air warm

But so different

I smell iron and steel,

coal and exhaust

You smelled marsh, rain, the birds, the fox

I watch the geese wings touch the water

Shimmer

Surface tension

Black against glittering blue
